ConvaTec Esenta Sting-Free Skin Barrier Spray is a skin prep for ostomy and wound care that protects skin by forming a breathable barrier for up to 72 hours from damage caused by adhesives, body waste, and enzymes. ConvaTec Esenta does not contain alcohol, the formulation is a silicone blend. Silicone blends do not sting on application. Reapplication is recommended every 12-72 hours, dependent upon skin surface conditions. Safe and effective even with frequent use. How to Use ConvaTec ESENTA Sting-Free Skin Barrier Spray
• Clean and dry the skin
• Shake well before use, wait till skin is dry
• Make sure the skin is dry to the touch before applying medical adhesive, ostomy appliances or wound dressings.
• Hold approximately 10 cm or 4 inches from the area to be treated and apply a uniform coating in a sweeping motion.
• ESENTA skin barrier spray should be replaced at every dressing or appliance change to maintain complete protection. ESENTA Barrier will not cause a build up of barrier film on the skin surface.
