Medline K3 Basic - Plus Wheelchair (Swing Back Desk-Length Armrest) is a nylon upholstered wheelchair with adjustable anti-tippers with flip-up wheels. This wheelchair is in the K3 division of wheelchairs, this allows insurance companies to bill as a lightweight chair. There are several seat dimensions for this plus size chair. The sizes include: 16"w x 16"d, 18"w x 18"d and 20"w x 18"d. Each chair has hemi-height adjustable axles that rise and lower 2". Seat to floor height range is 18" to 20". K3 Basic Plus chairs have the following legrests options: swing away legs or elevating legs. Note: Heel loops are included with the swing away footrest for maximum support.

These wheelchairs have a weight capacity is 300 lbs. This wheelchair has swing back desk-length arms. These arms allow for easier movement in and out of the chair and can still easily fit under tables and desks. Arms and calf pads are upholstered and padded for extra comfort.

First the arms of the K3 Basic Plus has the swing back arms and the K3 Lightweight has removable arms. Second, the weight in each chair varies from 35 lbs to approximately 47 lbs. Third, there are loop holders on the swing-away footrest on the K3 Basic Plus chair. Finally, there are more seat dimensions offered in the K3 Basic Plus to accommodate a wider range of body sizes.

Note: Elevating legrest models feature a notched, stainless steel ratchet bar to lock the legrests securely in place. Both the elevating and swing-away legrest are detachable.
