Medline K4 - Lightweight Wheelchair (Swing Back Full Length Armrest)

Medline K4 - Lightweight Wheelchair (Swing Back Full Length Armrest) is made of tough nylon upholstery with a durable tig-welded frame and a gray powder coat finish. Each chair has swing back arms with an easy flip back arm release. These arms allow for easier movement in and out of the chair. Arms and calf pads are upholstered and padded for extra comfort. This wheelchair is in the K4 division of wheelchairs, this allows insurance companies to bill as a high strength, lightweight wheelchair.

These lightweight wheelchairs feature hemi-height dual axles. These quick release axles allow tool free removal of rear wheels. Each chair has hemi-height adjustable axles that rise and lower 2". Seat to floor height range is 18" to 20".

Seat sizes include: 16"w x 16"d and 18"w x 16"d. Each chair weighs only 31 lbs when assembled. Weight capacity is 300 lbs.

What are the differences between the K4 Basic Lightweight Wheelchair and the K4 Lightweight Wheelchair?
Each chair has many similar features but some differences to note would be the larger seat sizes and larger weight capacity in the K4 Basic Lightweight wheelchair. The K4 Basic Lightweight wheelchair also uses the softer nylon material. The K4 Lightweight Wheelchair uses a tougher nylon and a choice of extra accessories that are included in some models such as anti-tipper, adjustable back height, and a variety of armstyles to choose from. Weight capacity on the lightweight chair is 300 lbs. Weight capacity on the Basic Lightweight chair ranges up to 350 lbs.

Note: Elevating leg rest models feature a notched, stainless steel ratchet bar to lock the leg rests securely in place. Both the elevating and swing away leg rest are detachable.
